The Silver Cloud is a magnificent, stately limousine and is not to be confused with the smaller, newer – and much more common – Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow.
Historical fact
The most famous Rolls-Royce advertisement of all time stated “at 60 miles an hour the loudest noise in this new Rolls-Royce comes from the electric clock”. This was in 1956 and referred to the Silver Cloud.
